Your Life Is Out of Your Hands

Signals that your life Is out of your hands and  It’s a terrible but typical experience to feel that we’ve lost control of our life and have no say over what happens to us. We may feel like helpless onlookers at times, dragged along by events over which we have no control. It’s easy to feel powerless when we let a job, a relationship, or even a buddy exert influence over us. How can we regain our composure?

Managing one’s own life entails taking responsibility for all its facets. Of course, there are some things at which we will inevitably lag. None of us can control anything but our own reactions, thoughts, who we accept into our lives, and how we let ourselves be influenced. So often, we undervalue the influence that something has over us. By doing so, we’re making it official that no one else is in possession of the equipment. To get here, we must first convince ourselves that we are, in fact, in command. When we finally accept that you’ve got this, nothing else will seem to matter.

You are Always Griping About Something

If you find yourself in a perpetual state of moaning, it’s evident that something is upsetting you. This might be your unpleasant boss, a draining friendship, or a dominating family member. But are you taking action to rectify the situation?

Consider these questions:

  • Can the situation be improved by my actions?
  • Do I have any plans to improve the situation?
  • Could it be that I’m simply being a grouch?

No doubt about it, that’s a challenging question. It’s easy to give up hope that things will ever change when they don’t. We can always find a method to improve upon it, therefore that is not the case at all. Change can only begin with doing. Taking even a baby step toward fixing a problem shows that you’re not giving up control of it.

Instead of being stuck in a never-ending cycle of self-pity whenever you find yourself whining, try redirecting your attention to possible solutions.

Your Feelings of Boredom are Always Present.

Being perpetually uninterested means that we have lost our passion for living. Our lives lack excitement because we have lost interest in them and no longer believe in the path we are on. What can we do to change that?

  • Determine if you are putting your passions first.
  • Do I really want to pursue my goals?
  • Was I remiss in neglecting to schedule time for my own pleasures?

Had I allowed my job to consume my life to the point where I neglected to make time for the things that brought me joy?

It’s amazing how much joy can be derived from seemingly insignificant events. Just hanging out with my best friend, listening to music, and eating at our favorite restaurants.

Establishing and sticking to a routine is beneficial because it provides us with consistency and predictability. The things we do should be something we enjoy doing, not things we do because we feel we have to. An investment of time in pursuit of a passion or interest can yield profound results. Put some effort into it!

It’s only natural to feel better about life overall once you start appreciating it again. You’ll be in charge of your own pleasure and health if you can pull this off.

Your Inner Monologue Makes You Avoid Making Decisions.

How can we feel in charge if we can’t keep our word? As a result of not knowing how to commit to things, we will feel as though we lack discipline.

We can begin by thinking about how seriously we take our obligations, be they to a buddy for a hangout or a meeting or a family or a potential employer for an interview or a potential partner for a romantic encounter. In order to recognize a lack of dedication, self-awareness is required.

Now that you know this, you may begin improving it.

Make a list of everything you want to accomplish first thing in the morning, and then make it a priority to complete each item on the list. Doing so will foster accountability, which in turn will make you a more dedicated person.

Taking responsibility for various aspects of our lives gives us a sense of mastery.

Relationally, you’re all over the place

Putting forth the effort to keep relationships that don’t quite fit can be taxing on your mental and emotional health. The inability to set boundaries and the consequent reluctance to complain about being irritated may be to blame. You may find your emotional health suffering as a result of this.

If you’re afraid of setting limits, you need to figure out why. You do not cause harm by desiring to be taken seriously. In reality, all you’re doing is shielding yourself emotionally. The more comfortable we are with setting limits for ourselves and others, the more content and confident we feel.

The three of us have earned this. Without setting limits for ourselves, we lose the ability to direct our lives and maintain healthy, loving relationships with others.

You’re Always Checking Your Phone.

Getting sucked into the negativity of social media can have terrible effects. It’s dangerous if we don’t control how much we’re influenced by social media. We may not be able to prevent the platforms from having a significant effect on our life if we allow them to.

It’s important to monitor how much time we spend on our phones and understand the potential consequences of that time. For instance, this will allow you to see the issue more plainly. Should I be evaluating myself against others’ internet profiles? Do I let what I put online to serve as the sole influence on my life? Can I say that I feel like I don’t exist if I don’t have online confirmation of my existence? Do I have a social media addiction?

Possessing a social media profile and making frequent use of it is entirely typical behavior. However, problems arise when we allow them to take up too much of our attention.

For instance, we can plan ahead of time how much time we’ll spend on social media that day, and how we’ll make the most of the day even if we don’t feel compelled to share it online. Doing so fosters a more positive frame of mind.

The First Step Toward Altering Your Situation is Taking It Upon Yourself to Do So.

Many aspects of our lives are under our control, and we may not even realize it. The media we take in on a regular basis, the friends and family we keep, the restaurants we frequent, the jobs we hold, the schedules we keep, the inner monologues we have with ourselves, and the mirrors in which we view ourselves are just a few examples.

All of these factors aid in making our dreams a reality. It’s been scientifically proven that taking in uplifting content on a daily basis can actually alter one’s way of thinking. I like to start my day off by listening to positive affirmations since they really do stay in your head all day. It’s crucial, then, to be mindful of the information you expose yourself to on a daily basis. If you want to make a change and feel more in charge of your life, the first step is to say so, believe it, and act on it.
