Rules for Learning Quran

1. Take your time when reading the Quran and understand the meaning of what you are reading. 2. Try to recite in a slow and controlled manner, pausing at each comma, full stop, and question mark. 3. If you are going to read a sentence more than once, try to be consistent with how many times you repeat it.
4. Put emphasis on certain words by saying them louder or slower than others (this is called Tajweed). For example, if there is a word that denotes the importance of an object or event, such as The House or The Day, try saying it louder or slower so that it stands out from other words in the sentence.

Choosing a Good Teacher

The first and most important factor in choosing a qualified teacher is their knowledge of the Arabic language. If you can’t read Arabic, this will be the best way to judge their skills. Next, look for teachers who are fluent in both languages, as they are more likely to understand the nuances that sometimes confuse students who only learn one language or the other. Teachers should also have an educational background and certification in teaching Quran. Finally, it’s important to find someone who is passionate about teaching and has experience working with children of all ages and backgrounds.

Pay Attention

-Noorani Qaida is the same as other recitations of the Holy Quran. -The only difference is that it contains the additional vowel markings and other signs to distinguish between letters that are otherwise similar in shape. -It was standardized by Hafiz Jalaluddin Surkh-Posh Bukhari, who lived in the village of Nour near Herat (now Afghanistan) in the late 15th century CE. -This system includes six full tajweed rules for certain letters and vowels, as well as shortened tajweed rules for some parts of verses where a letter’s point of articulation is close to another letter.
-This style’s full name is Ardabīlī Sharḥ al‐Qirā’āt al‐ʿĀmiriyyah.
-There are around 100 differences between this reading style and others.

Noorani Qaida is an Arabic term which refers to the rules of reciting the Quran in a proper and melodious manner. It is a branch of Tajweed. The rules of Tajweed are traditionally taught by a qualified teacher one-on-one to an individual student. However, this method can be tedious and costly for many people who cannot find or afford a qualified teacher. Hence, we have come up with an online version of the class which covers all aspects of tajweed including pauses, stops, vowels, articulation etc. You will learn about these aspects as you progress through your lesson.
